The Shinas Oil Terminal is a transformative energy and tourism project led by the private sector and managed by CUPOLA Global.
Located at the gateway of the Strait of Hormuz, we’re developing Oman’s future-facing infrastructure to support regional and global energy markets.
Phased Development of Energy and Tourism Infrastructure
Phase 1
The project includes 1.2 million-ton oil storage tanks, an initial bunkering terminal, basic brokerage infrastructure, and utilities setup.
Phase 2
Planned expansion includes increasing capacity to 2.4 million tons, establishing a digital trading exchange, and adding two new berths.
Phase 3
An Integrated Tourism Complex (ITC) is planned, featuring a marina, luxury hotel, housing, and commercial spaces to support 10,000 residents.
Phase 4
The final phase includes expanding tank farm capacity to 4.8 million tons, growing the ITC to accommodate 20,000 people, and establishing a designated Energy Free Zone.
